There is a growing number of people using the 10 in 1 USB kmodel simulators to connect their RC transmitters to the PC and then fly with a variety of flight simulators. This has recently grown due to an increase in FPV quadcopter flying.
I have one of these USB 10 in 1 dongles and a RC transmitter and use it with a couple of flight simulators very successfully, I guess they have specific built in software. Ine ccie security v5 technologies: asa firewall.
However, some simulators (especially the cheaper ones) use the Windows controller as an input device and when I connect my kmodel USB it is picked up by Windows, which names it, and allows me to try and configure it as if it is a joystick. However the Windows driver only seems to pick up one set of inputs and allows left/right movement but not up/down which is on a different stick on the RC controller.
Is there any way of reading the USB values and map them to the joystick settings so that software which is not specifically written for the USB dongle will allow the dongle to behave as if it is a joystick? Little snitch 4.3 crack download. Rome 2 strategic resources.
There are other solutions which mimic the input from the RC controller through the microphone port and convert the signals to a joystick input but they cause me problems and I would really like to use the USB dongle as it works in at least in one direction and would seem to be a relatively easy task for someone who is not as dumb as me when it comes to programming.
I am certain that if this was done there is a market for the software, which will only increase as the hobby becomes even more mainstream.
Thank you

I hate buying single-purpose hardware, so I want to know if I can use my existing Syma X1 transmitter with RC simulator software.
Does anyone have experience with this dongle? http://dx.com/p/usb-dongle-rc-fligh..tor-blue-147256
I'd like to pair the dongle with this receiver: http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-F..9x-p-68604.html
and this transmitter that comes with my Syma X1: http://www.banggood.com/Syma-X1-RC-..-2-p-74190.html
This is the cheapest way I think I can get a transmitter hooked up to the simulator. Total marginal cost is $21.50 for the dongle and the receiver since I am using an existing transmitter.
The reason I think that transmitter will work with that receiver is because the X1 seems to work with a FlySky transmitter like the Turnigy 9x (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaEPEVb9i0k), so it reasons that the X1 Transmitter would work with a FlySky receiver.
Is this going to work?
